Description of the place
The complex "Verhovoy kruiz" is located in the centre of a small
village Chkarino, in 38 km from the city Yoshrar-Ola - the capital
of Mari El republic. Mari-El republic is an ecologically clean area in
the centre of Russia (mid Volga region). The nature of the Mari-El
is unique in its beauty and integrity, plenty of forests, lakes,
berries, mushrooms, and variety of animal world. That's why horse
tourism in Mari-El leaves remarkable impressions. For many years
forests have been the place of living, nourishment and holly temple
for folk Mari, living in this area.
Folk mari, living here, belong to the Finno-Ugrian ethnic
group. This folk had brought its language, original culture and
traditions through the centuries and it keeps them carefully
nowadays. By now one third of folk mari is pagan, who kept their
holly woods in spite of everything.

Horse riding and tourist complex is the complex of the services, including
teaching riding the horse, trainings in the opened riding hall,
horse tours with different levels of difficulty, horse equipment,
lodging, meals and extra services (karaoke, Russian sauna, barbeque
rent, billiard, tennis, table games).
Different routes are developed for bicycle and hiking tourism,
giving the possibility to visit interesting nature and
historical-cultural objects at the same time. Rent of the tourist
equipment, lodging, meals and additional services are included in
the services complex.
Depending on the wishes and the possibilities of the tourists
the tours can be of different durations and of different levels of
the difficulty:

Our horse itineraries are arranged in such a way, that they
allow the beginners to develop riding skills, enjoying the nature,
and at the same time they allow the amateurs of the fast riding to
get the pleasure from the travel. All the itineraries begin and end
in the horse yard of the complex, and then people can have lunch or
supper in the dining-room and the rest in the accomplishing
hotel.

duration is 2 hours.

water" - bereznyak - the spring with "death water" Talway - the
village Zhuravli - horse yard. Distance is 7 km, duration - 2,5
hours.
Horse yard - village Egoshino - horse yard. Distance is 6 km,
duration - 2 hours.
Horse yard - Kupshul-Solinskiy comb - horse yard. Distance is 6
km, duration - 2 hours.
